Hermle Westminster Grandfather Chime Assembly – Longest Rod 26.5″ – 2 Choices

This is a brand new Hermle Westminster Chime Rod set for larger Grandfather floor clocks. Made in Germany. These are typically used with the Hermle Grandfather movements since the cast iron block is bigger. They are used on floor clock models with two rows of hammers on the back of your movement. The longest rod is 26′.5′ (measured from the back of the block, where it is pressed-in, to the end). There are 8 rods total. They are straight rods as shown in the pictures, not angled, so please make sure this configuration will work in your clock and not interfere with the pendulum swing (we do have some other styles on our website). They are attached to a cast iron bracket/block and are a press-in style. It comes pre-assembled. There are 4 screw holes on the bracket holder to mount into your clock case. We will provide you the necessary mounting screws.

There are two mounting choices/styles to choose from:

Style #1 – Rods are mounted at the base of the cast iron block (code# CHR-51R)

Style #2 – Rods are mounted closer to the top of the cast iron block (code# CHR-51F)

**You will want to choose the style that best suits your needs according to the type/model of Hermle Grandfather mechanical movement you have.  Choose a style that will line up best with the chime hammers on your movement so you do not have to bend them much to line up properly.
